I'm here because I have a strong desire to help and support the youth of Tillamook.  I want to help bring balance and stability to the district.   I have the skills, ability, time, and passion to be successful in this role of School Board Director.  I feel that I have a strong grasp of the issues that lie in the district, from student needs to teacher retention.   Understanding that many issues are not black and white and require compromise and collaboration to find a good solution is part of what I hope to bring to the table. I have ideas, experience, and an "inside the classroom" perspective that I think would be valuable to the board.  I want to help each and every student and staff person at TSD9 feel welcome, valued, and supported.
